Deepen the role of active listening to balance and activate the visual brain and make lasting connections with your audience.
Graphic Recording, Visual Facilitation, Studio work and Visual Coaching are four different forms of visual practice. They each have a benefit and purpose when applied to working with groups or individuals. When Graphic Recording is done over Zoom, I use a Hue HD documenting camera to transcribe events in real time. Participants can see my hands and drawing instruments and watch the visuals by highlighting or pinning the video. Graphic recording supports other types of facilitation and work with groups or teams. I can also provide Visual Facilitation for groups that are doing community development work that involves dialogue and inquiry. Studio Work is done remotely with the recording of events or meetings and allows for more time and refinement of design and imagery. Images reflect back to people what is being said and shows participants they are being seen and heard. Images can be used in reports, websites and social media, as well as displayed in public settings or printed in small or medium formats. All forms of Visual Practice are intended to deepen connection, enhance insight and facilitate visioning about your project, event or life shift.
